Exhibited from September through December 2024 at the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg.
Chosen from 2200 artworks submitted by 600 PA artists - this work was one of only 96 pieces accepted for the Art of the State Exhibition, 2024.
3-D collage: cropped photos of stripes and alcohol inks on paper mounted on 3 panels connected by Velcro + buckram stripes

This sculptural collage developed from my fascination with the aesthetic potential of stripes. Here I have flanked the large center collage with two smaller striped panels. I connect the flat stripes of the panels with actual stiff ribbons of buckram to escape as 3-D stripes and expand into the space as a three part composition.
